About The Wedding Edit Scotland - Photography & Videography

The Wedding Edit Scotland, founded and led by Annie, captures weddings across Scotland through raw, natural and emotion-filled photography, creating the kind of images that take couples straight back to how it felt in that moment. The quiet glances, the laughter, the in-between seconds that often go unnoticed… that's where the magic lives.

Annie is passionate about being part of people's wedding days, whether that's an elopement, a rustic barn celebration, an intimate wedding, or a full day surrounded by everyone they love. Every wedding is different, and her approach is to capture it all as it naturally unfolds, from the big moments everyone expects to the little moments that happen in between.

There's something so special about the mix of adventure and romance that comes with a wedding day. It's not just about how a wedding looks, but how it feels to be there, the excitement, the nerves, the happy tears, the laughter and all the little moments shared with the people who mean the most.

Based in Scotland's Central Belt, Annie takes a relaxed, calm and unobtrusive approach, allowing couples to enjoy their day without feeling like they are constantly being asked to pose. For those who feel nervous or uncomfortable in front of the camera, gentle direction is offered when needed, helping couples to relax and simply be themselves. The aim is for the photography to feel like a natural part of the day, never taking over or distracting from the moments that matter.

The Wedding Edit Scotland travels throughout Scotland capturing love stories, with weddings photographed in Ayr, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Fife, the Isle of Skye, Aviemore and St Andrews. The focus is not just on how each wedding looks, but how it feels. Every couple, every family and every story is different, with the focus on documenting each one in the most honest and beautiful way possible.

Years from now, the photographs should take couples straight back to how they felt on their wedding day, back to the people who were there, the laughter they shared, the emotions they felt and all those fleeting moments they may not have even noticed at the time.

For couples looking for something real, natural and completely like them, The Wedding Edit Scotland captures wedding stories as they truly unfold, full of connection, emotion and all the moments that make a wedding day unforgettable.

Frequently asked questions

Do you travel throughout Scotland?

Yes. The Wedding Edit Scotland is flexible and happy to travel anywhere in Scotland to capture weddings and elopements. Weddings have been photographed in locations including Ayr, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Fife, the Isle of Skye, Aviemore and St Andrews.

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

There's no set timeframe for booking, and couples are welcome to get in touch whenever they're ready. Dates are beginning to fill up, particularly for popular wedding seasons, so booking early is recommended if there is a specific date in mind. That said, last-minute and spontaneous bookings are always welcome, and if the date is available, it would be a pleasure to be part of your day.

How do we secure our date?

The first step is to get in touch directly through the website with your wedding date, venue and a few details about your plans for the day. A brochure with full package details and current pricing will then be provided. Once you've chosen your package and are ready to book, your date can be secured with the booking fee and completed booking agreement.

Why should we choose The Wedding Edit Scotland as our wedding photographer?

Every wedding is different, and The Wedding Edit Scotland believes photographs should reflect the personality, energy and emotion of the day, rather than simply being a collection of staged images. Annie's approach is flexible and intuitive, adapting to each wedding, the location and the couple, so the photographs feel natural, heartfelt and uniquely theirs.
