We're Officially Launched — An Unforgettable Evening at Trades Hall

We are absolutely thrilled. On the evening of Monday 8 June 2026, Scottish Wedding Club held its official launch event at the magnificent Trades Hall of Glasgow — and what an evening it was.

From 18:30 to 20:00, the historic halls of one of Glasgow's most iconic buildings were filled with the energy, warmth and excitement of Scotland's wedding industry coming together for the very first time under one roof. We welcomed 28 individual wedding companies to the evening — all of them excited about what Scottish Wedding Club represents and eager to be part of something new. By the end of the night, 16 had confirmed their participation on the spot. That is a result we are incredibly proud of.

A Night to Remember

The Trades Hall of Glasgow provided the most spectacular backdrop for our launch — its grand architecture and rich history perfectly complementing the occasion. Guests arrived to a champagne reception, mingling with fellow wedding professionals, sharing stories and forging connections that we hope will last for years to come.

The atmosphere was electric. There was a genuine sense that something important was happening — that the West of Scotland's wedding industry was stepping into a new era. Venues, photographers, florists, caterers, cake makers, hair and beauty artists, videographers and so many more were all represented, united by a shared passion for creating unforgettable weddings.

One of the true highlights of the evening was being joined by the fabulous Susannah from STV Media Broadcasting. Her presence at our launch was a real statement of intent — a signal to every wedding professional in the room that Scottish Wedding Club is backed by serious media reach and a genuine commitment to putting West of Scotland suppliers in front of couples across Scotland.

Our partnership with STV represents a huge milestone for the club and for every supplier listed in our directory. It means greater visibility, wider reach and a platform that truly amplifies the brilliant work being done by wedding professionals across the region.
